Class Attendance Process

Process: All courses are announced 90 days prior to start via this website and by email distribution. To enroll, please follow the instructions provided by clicking the “How To Register” tab above.

Confirmation: Submission of an application is not confirmation for attendance. Approximately 4 weeks before the course start date, you will receive notification of your status. Once confirmed, you will receive a welcome letter and supervisor’s approval form. Return the supervisor’s approval form by fax or mail ASAP.

Waiting List: If your application is received after the course is full, you will be placed on the waiting list. In the event of cancellations, substitutions will be drawn based on the date we receive the application. Waiting lists do not carry over from class to class.

Cancellations: We understand commitments of the law enforcement community. Most courses have waiting lists, so we ask that you notify us in the event of a cancellation.

Eligibility Requirements

 You must have successfully completed a certified basic law enforcement training academy.

 You must be accredited with full investigative and arresting authority as required by the state in which you are employed.

 If requested, you must produce proof of training.

 Failure to do so will result in expulsion until proof can be provided.
